Code Geass R2 (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ) 25 - End

After the death of some main characters like Shelly and Roro (while some minor characters like Kaname Ohgi who should have died but is still alive), Lelouch cannot escape his own bloody ending, which is also the meaning of the Zero Requiem, his own assassination. Yeah that's what revolution is about: blood, blood and blood...

Lelouch sacrifices his life for world peace by focusing all the hatred upon himself and see who becomes the prime minister of Japan... Kaname Ohgi!?

What Kaname Ohgi has achieve in these two seasons is to get Villetta Nu pregant. For god's sake, I don't think he deserves a happy ending like this. (If you look at the photograph more carefully, you can see that Li Xingke isn't there. So does that mean that he's dead?)

It's also hilarious to see Jeremiah Gottwald become an orange farmer. "Orange" is supposed to be a joke in the beginning and in the end it becomes the most important compliment in his life...

Well, apparently Jeremiah is not alone in this as he's accompanied by Anya and I have no idea when does this relationship begins.

C.C., merely becomes a narrator in the opening scenes of the second season, continues her journey alone.

Comments: The ending is slightly better than I've thought though I wish there would be R3 in which it will begin with Lelouch taking the throne and becoming the emperor so the producer can have some more time to elaborate the story instead of rushing to the end in two seasons. Anyway, I've heard that there would be an OVA but I guess C.C. would be the protagonist since Lelouch's been dead already. Some audience has been looking forward to Gundam 00 towards the end of the second season of Code Geass but I'm not a big fan of Gundam so I don't really care.
