There is really no protagonist in this
anime (for one second, I thought
Volken is the one because he just has all the characteristics of a typical protagonist: hot-blooded and naive?). The story is divided into multiple chapters and the focus of the story shifts among the characters every two or three episodes (mostly because the character will be dead in the end of that particular chapter...).
Hamutz, the
Bantorra library's director, is the one that connects all the chapters. She's a tragic character who is being trained solely for destruction and has a desire to be killed by someone who can defeat her. She's formidable, heartless and looks like a villain all the time. But throughout the story,
Hamutz meets someone she loves and friends that remain loyal to her. And in the end, with the help of the world, she sacrifices her own life to defeat the evil force that is about to destroy the world (Dragon Ball...). Just highly recommended. Best

Make music not war! "Amazing Grace" is a beautiful hymn, and also stops the Nth world war and saves the human race from destruction... What kind of soldiers could be that
moe!? Even this
anime is about the lives of the 1121st platoon during peacetime, there's no different than watching some high school girls having their after school teatime... It's really hard to take the story seriously and it's generally lighthearted but suddenly becomes very dramatic in the last few episodes. I thought the platoon would be killed in the final battle but I guess I worry too much because not only is the battle tank they try to repair the entire season bulletproof, it can also shoot, climb, jump and fly... (... I guess it'd do anything like playing music...). Well, the soundtracks and scenery of the
anime are just stunning, and it certainly has one of the best
OPs of the season. To conclude, it's a copycat but I think it's better than K-On! @@

Hideyoshi is the best! The
anime is about idiots and is very very funny with good amount of fan services... The protagonist is definitely an idiot both academically and in real life! Surprisingly the idiots' class win all the battles against the other classes except the A class (I guess street smart is more important than book smart). I admire the idiots' courage to challenge the unfair school system but their effort comes short in the final battle as they're defeated by a heartless
motherfxxker who would choose winning the stupid battle over saving her own classmate's life. However, it does run out of time so the classes start to battle like there's no tomorrow in the last episode. Also, the idiot protagonist's love interests are really flat and even his own
erotic sister is more recognizable. I think this
anime ends at the right point before it jokes become
formularized. Good ED... OP... forget about it!!

Bravo! Outstanding performance by
Mamiko Noto. It seems to have some sort of sequel (...so I could see
Ayane dating her stupid classmate again?)... well, after 25 episodes, this dinosaur-like couple just start holding hands and not even kiss @@ (Am I really watching
Shojo anime? By this point, I thought the female protagonist should have got pregnant and given birth of their baby already...). Although this
anime is supposed to be about love bah bah bah, the most touching part to me is the friendship among
Sawako,
Ayane and
Chizunu. But sometimes, I do feel a little bit impatient and think the story is slow and not making progress (e.g. Their 1st date in the finale, which could have ended in one episode...) By the way, the Q-versions of the characters are very
kawaii~

Without imagine breaker,
railgun is unbeatable in this
anime. To me, this side story is better than the main story because the author gets rid of the annoying male protagonist and nun, most of the boring explanation thought it comes with a consequence as
there're more causal girl-love scenes and less battle sequences...

I really neither like nor hate this
anime... no, I have to correct myself because I think the "Dance with the Vampire Maid" in the last few seconds is actually quite funny. Well, to me, I'm not a big fan of the vampire queen and no character is likable... especially the
lolicon protagonist. I only hope that
Shinbo could start working on the second season of
Bakemonogatari... By the way, it's rare not to have
Hiroshi Kamiya in a Shaft production.... One last thing, the OP ED are average comparing with others...

This
anime is boring as hell. Trying to be suspenseful but running out of time (oops my bad, it actually has time for a stupid OVA...) so the lead female character just reveals all the mysteries so the protagonist could enjoys a silly harem happy ending in the finale... What the hell! I wish he was raped by his female classmate's brother in that episode!!! Well, it does have good OP & ED like everyone has this season.
