Wagaya no Oinari-sama (我が家のお稲荷さま) 24 - End

Approaching new year, it's time for cleaning.

But Kugen Tenko's brother/sister, Gyokuyou, is not happy by the way Kugen is treated...

Feeling it's a shame for his/her sister to be sealed and enslaved, Gyokuyou avenges and kidnaps the Takagami brothers.

In order to force Gyokuyou to appear, Kugen self-ignites!?

Their battle doesn't exceed three minutes and after that Kugen listens to his/her brother/sister and decides not to see the Takagami brothers again.

However, Noboru and Toru don't want Kugen to go and they find him/her in the cave that he/she was originally sealed in the first episode.

Actually, it's pretty easy to make Kugen come out and join them again...

Jealous Gyokuyou in the woods...

Things are settled and the whole family go to jinja on the first day of year.

Misaki Sakura in kimono^^

Misaki tries to impress Noboru but only finds out that he also wants Kugen and Ko to weaer kimono...

Momiji Miyabe, Misaki's main competitor, is also in kimono... (a more expensive one@@)

Misaki's illusion begins...

Mubyou appears first time in front of Misaki who immediately thinks she's Noboru's another girl friend...

Why do the Takagami family invite this guy?

During the feast, Kugen tries to convince Gyokuyou that being a pet at home is better than a wandering animal on the street. (Gyokuyou's still wearing his/her mini-skirt kimono in mid-winter...)

One thing that puzzles me is that Gyokuyou never hides his/her ears! He/she thinks nobody can see them?

"Haha, I've got you!"

In the end, everyone is werring kimono... (Gyokuyou is very moe...)

Comments: This is a finale that doesn't look like a finale. There's no climax and everything is kind of boring in the end. I've been expecting a final battle between Kugen and some other deities but after Shiroi, there's no more major fight and the remaining episodes are just contes. Though Wagaya no Oinari-sama doesn't end with a bang, it's a pretty consistent anime overall. This anime has neither been on the chopping board to me nor at the top of my favorite anime list this season so I'd say it's average. (Well, it's still better than Kanokon, which is also about kitsume but involves plenty of erotic scenes... I actually watched the first episode of Kanokon mistakenly because I assumed it's Wagaya no Oinari-sama and it just made me sad to see Ayako Kawasumi 川澄綾子 inches away from being a h anime cv >.<)
