Why doesn't Celty dress sexier sooner@@ The ending couldn't be any happier as the big three, Mikado, Masaomi and Anri, resolve all their misunderstanding and become friends again. GJ for Simon's punch in the eye but his Russian sounds worse than Izaya and what a unbelievable strike by Shizuo on the highway to prove once again that sign post is the best weapon on the street. The story is really great and all the characters are interestingly complex especially Celty and the big three. All the characters are seemingly unrelated in the beginning but their plots are all connected in the end. There're so many mysteries and shocking moments in each episode like when the big three reveal their true identities as the leaders of respective gangs in Ikebukuro. And I've thought Celty'd find her head in the end but unfortunately she still couldn't. Besides, both OP 1& 2 are great and one of very few animes I know that all OPEDs are sung by male artists.

四畳半神話大系


OMG, Ozu looks like an otaku more than a devil... Running naked or cross-dress in the public in the last episode, which is the lesser of two evils? There're so many clubs in so many parallel universes but whether the protagonist join clubs or not, his life is just gonna be crazy anyway. The protagonist is so lucky to have numerous chances to relive his lives again and again and not to worry about making wrong choices. I don't know how many times the fortune teller appears and tells him to seize the opportunity before he finally clear his mind and asks Akashi out... In the end, not only does the protagonist is in a romantic relationship, other characters are dating somebody, too. What a happy ending!

荒川アンダー ザ ブリッジ


Over 100 chapters... What a big production!? This anime is about a mental institution under the bridge and a punch of crazy homeless people including the protagonist who later seems to lose his mind a little bit. Every character is extremely weird (a self-claimed Venusian, Kappa as chief, Hoshi under a star mask, a male nun...) but also very likable and it just gets funnier as more characters are introduced and the audience learns more about them. Thanks god there's no need to read all the words like other Shaft production and just couldn't wait to watch the second season.

Angel Beats!


So Angel is the lead female character? Who's Yurippe? (You know... the smaller your breasts, the more popular you're...) The anime is kind of short for this complicated setting and all the useless characters (Maybe it shouldn't introduce that many characters in the first place). Basically, it just rushes to the end and all characters disappear and disappear like a computer crash ... Over and over again, each episode is sort of having a funny beginning, dramatic development and sorrowing ending when the characters' dark past is reveal. It has some touching moments like ep 9 and 10 but after that, it's kind of flat and even the finale couldn't create a climax that surpasses them. Lastly, good OP, ED and IN and Girls Dead Monster is just awesome.

さらい屋五葉


The season is short but it's like a million years long when watching it... Five Leaves is a group of kidnappers/gentleman thieves and the anime generally focuses on the relationships among them. All characters have some sort of mysterious pasts... Masa has the most common one (just a ronin) while Yaichi has the most uncommon one (from being kidnapped to kidnapping people). Meanwhile, Masa slowly transforms from a shy guy to a more reliable member of the gang, and is able to gain the trust of other people and help Yaichi to let go of his memories in the end. Ironically, Yaichi, who is always mysterious and stays away from people, is the one who helps Masa find a job, feeds him and persuade him to join the gang despite the oppositions of some members in the beginning. Despite its slow pace, the combination of its unique artwork and high quality soundtracks is interesting enough to keep me watching. (Edo is so dark and monotonous in the anime... that's why the red leaves stand out so much...)

"Beauty" and the kawaii Beast... After all, Takanashi still needs to crossdress in the final episode (Yeah~ Welcome back Kotori!)... Though they couldn't hold hands, at least Inami doesn't punched/kicked Takanashi in their first date... Meganekko, the self-proclaimed only ordinary person in the restaurant, is finally introduced but isn't normal at all, joining the group of her weird co-workers... The anime has limited recurring themes and its continuing focus on Inami's androphobia, Taneshima's height and Yachiyo's affection is repetitive and boring. Even the addition of new character like Yamada does nothing to change that... In contrary to 閃光のナイトレイド, the OP is probably the only thing I don't hate in this anime...

閃光のナイトレイド


... so the first nuclear bomb is deployed to the outer space?... After all these episodes, I still haven't figured out the meaning of the title... A1 tries to re-illustrate the history of Japanese invasion of China but clearly running of time so in the finale, the characters just kill off each other/somebody just appears to erase everybody's memories like the M.I.B... Kazura, don't you switch sides too often? Just decide who you really love, Aoi or Takachiho? Really great effort by the CVs being multilingual in Mandarin, English, German, etc! By the way, the best ED in this season, which perhaps becomes the only reason I watch this anime midway through...

聖痕のクェイサー


This anime is about the battles between a bunch of unweaned babies so-called qwasers... God knows how many women's breasts Sasha touches/sucks and this is only his very first kiss!? I guess Sasha's still a virgin, too... The finale is stupid and it'd have ended after the boring final battle with the qwaser of gold, who just looks weak maybe because he sucks too much soma out of his own breasts, since the audience have more than enough ero services already. Trying to have a plot but who really cares if there's gonna be at least one breastfeeding scene every 20 minutes... At last, a moment of silence for Mafuyu's shrinking breasts...

Kissxsis


Keitai graduates junior high school a virgin (even though he lives with his two erotic elder sisters under the same roof since kindergarten...) Aogeba totoshi is being sung again... just like the graduation in Angel Beats. Comparing to the OAD, the self-censored fan services simply suck and are in the middle of nowhere land throughout the season. I wish the season's released as OAD so there'd be no stupid chicken or bear blocking the audience's view... Hopefully, the DVDs could live up the reputation of the OAD.

B型H系


Virgin+Virgin=Virgins... After countless intimate scenes, Yamada and Kosuda still fail to reach home base! Having a girlfriend is annoying! Having Yamada as slave master girlfriend is super annoying!!! So much time on preparations and hallucinating but not a second in the bed. I guess Chika'd become a real woman sooner than Virgin Yamada... And without a single scene of masturbation, Yamada just becomes a "normal" tsundere high school girl @@ Only a fanboy of Yukari Tamura would enjoy this anime...
