CLANNAD 〜AFTER STORY〜 03

This episode is a continuation of Mei Sunohara's line: So on their first date, Sunohara takes Sanaeko (Sanae's alias) to a fast food shop, video game center and cd shop...


... orz Mei finally realizes why her brother has no girlfriend... (her expression is kind of like Suzumiya Haruhi to me...)


On the way to their next destination, they see a little girl being bullied by some boys but Sunohara's indifferent about it and doesn't want his date get interrupted. Mei's deeply shocked by his inaction since he isn't the brother she knew in the past.


Another cosplay sequence and this time by Sunohara...


Feeling that Sunohara no longer cares about her, Mei lies that she comes to this town for her boyfriend she meets during the last visit and runs away hoping that her brother will chase her. But she only gets disappointed in the end.


The reason why Mei's brother complex shocked by her brother's indifference is because Sunohara's used to protect her when she's a little kid.


Akio discovers Sanae's cosplay but doesn't know he's a cuckold...


Nagisa's like a a passerby in this episode... actually each lead female protagonist is like that...


Tomoya and Mei decide to have some fun after they lose sight of Sunohara and Sanae.


Tomoya asks Mei to pretend him as her brother but he couldn't stand Mei calling him "Oniijan (お兄ちゃん)..." It seems like Tomoya's going to have a heart attack@@


Actually, the Fujibayashi sisters and Kotomi really become passerby #1, 2 and 3 -_-b


Last episdoe is all about hitotsuma (人妻) and this episode is showing the power of sister-like character...


Don't they just kiss indirectly!?


In the middle of their date(?), they meet Sunohara who looks really piss off...


Tomoya decides to keep lying and pretends to be Mei's fake boyfriend in order to provoke Sumohara to stand up for his sister but they fail once again... (how many lies and fake relationships has Tomoya create...)


Mei's depressed and doesn't want to leave until she can change her brother from being like that.


During the preview, it seems that they're about to get into a fight!


Comments: It's common in Clannad to see the tone changes from happiness in the first few introductory episodes to sadness in the climax episode of the story and it seems that the next episode will become one of those sad episodes. (Another 5 days have passed and I've only managed to watch 2 out of the 6 anime premieres... Obviously, time wasn't on my side...)
