The decoration of the X'mas party continues and Sohara actually worries about Nymph's disappearance.
Harpy try to show off their flamethrowers...
Well, they promise they won't use unnecessary force before Nymph could convince Ikaros... Apparently they aren't telling the truth...
Tomoki goes buying stuff for the party and meets Ikaros halfway.
Ikaros senses that some unidentified angelroids were sent down and she neither wants to make her master worry nor puts him in danger. Therefore, she says sayonara to Tomoki and flies away.
Ikaros quickly locates Nymph, who tells her that her mission is to bring back Ikaros. But Ikaros replies that she's known it for a long time already and of course both of them are attacked by those bitches before they can finish their conversation.
Harpy are just here to recover Ikaros' Uranus System and don't bother to bring Ikaros back alive. Feeling betrayed, Nymph uses her ugly weapon again to kill the traitors...
On the other hand, Tomoki keeps looking for Ikaros after she's gone and the rest of the group also worry about them and decide to search them together. In the meantime, Sohara reveals her plan to celebrate X'mas as well as Ikaros' and Nymph's birthdays at the party.
... Nymph's weapon, as I mentioned before, is useless and Harpy just quickly catch and torture Nymph. (NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tearing her wings... that must hurt ~_~)
At least, due to Nymph's effort, Ikaros' still alive when the group arrive at the scene.
Ikaros doesn't hesitate to change to Uranus mode and is sorry to tell Tomoki that she's a battle class angelroid.
However, Tomoki responds that he won't dislike her because she's a weapon. He just feels sorry about her not having a chance of choose even though she's such a kind and lovely person. Then Tomoki summons Ikaros to rescue Nymph immediately.
While Ikaors is fighting the two Harpy, the group try to break Nymph's chain even the bomb may explode in any second and Nymph is really touched by their effort.
Uranus System is too powerful for Harpy to handle and they just retreat.
Happy ending and white X'mas! Yeah!
Comments: This is the funniest anime in 2009. There're moments that make me laugh so hard even I'm riding on the subway. There is a good mix of humor, seriousness and fan services, and it mainly focuses on Ikaros' character development from a robotic doll to become more like a human. Also, it's been well-drawn from premiere to finale and has a catchy OP and EDs as well. Not to mention that the CV performance is excellent especially for Soichiro Hoshi. I really hope there will be a second season or OVA as sequel.
